I've been lucky in my life to only work at something that I truly enjoyed or loved. In 2001 I was "between jobs". In Door County those jobs can be few and far between.
While in Baileys Harbor for an interview, I noticed a beautiful white house for sale......it was surrounded by a white picket fence and large over grown bushes and for some unexplainable reason, it made my heart sing! I knew right then and there I wanted that house and with some work it would be my "Garden Shop"

I am now going into my eighth season and still loving every minute. The gardens have grown and continue to expand. What once was lawn is now walking paths between fountains, bird baths, ponds, statuary, huge glazed pots, hand blown gazing balls, ever changing perennials in bloom and over 3500 tulips of every size and color.
